Job summary

The Cleveland Clinic Akron General Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology seeks a board-certified Ob/Gyn Hospitalist to lead hospital-based obstetrical and acute gynecologic care at the New Life Center. The role includes supervision of residents and medical students, responding to OB/GYN emergencies, and coordinating perinatal safety across the hospital.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Clinical experience to support hospital-based obstetrical and acute gynecologic care.
• Experience supervising OB/GYN residents and medical students.

Responsibilities

• Supervise OB/GYN residents and medical students.
• Lead the Obstetric ED, Labor and Delivery, and perinatal safety across the hospital.
• Respond to OB/GYN emergencies and manage admissions from Women’s Health Clinic and walk-ins.
