Job summary

The Cleveland Clinic Akron General Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a Board-certified Ob/Gyn Hospitalist to lead hospital-based obstetrical and acute gynecologic care at the New Life Center, a Level 3 Perinatal Center performing about 1800 deliveries yearly.

The role balances clinical and academic duties, supervising residents and students, with options for flexible scheduling (nocturnist or part-time) and a sign-on incentive related to loan forgiveness.

Qualifications

• Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology with clinical experience to support the full scope of hospital based obstetrical and acute gynecologic care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise OB/GYN residents and medical students.
• Respond to OB/GYN emergencies throughout the hospital and provide coverage in Labor and Delivery.
• Assist in admissions from Women's Health Clinic and walk-in patients.
• Provide OB/GYN consultations and collaborate with Maternal Fetal Medicine and family medicine services.
