Job summary

The Cleveland Clinic Akron General Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking an Ob/Gyn Hospitalist for the New Life Center. The hospitalist will lead the OB/GYN emergency care, labor and delivery, and perinatal safety, with responsibilities including admissions and collaborations with Maternal-Fetal Medicine.

This position balances clinical and academic duties, offers flexible employment options (including nocturnist and part-time), and includes a sign-on incentive in the form of loan

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Clinical experience supporting the full scope of hospital-based obstetrical and acute gynecologic care.
• Ability to supervise residents and medical students; participate in teaching.

Responsibilities

• Oversee care in the Obstetric Emergency Department, Labor and Delivery, and perinatal safety.
• Respond to OB/Gyn emergencies and manage admissions from Women's Health Clinic.
• Provide OB/GYN consultations and collaborate with the Maternal-Fetal Medicine service.
• Supervise residents and medical students; participate in academic activities.
