Job summary

The Cleveland Clinic Akron General (CCAG) is seeking an Ob/Gyn Hospitalist to lead hospital-based obstetrical and acute gynecologic care at the New Life Center. The role includes supervision of residents and medical students, with interdisciplinary collaboration across departments for safe perinatal care.

Typical duties include coverage of Obstetric Emergency Department, Labor and Delivery, and perinatal safety, with 36–48 hour weekly schedules and potential for part-time or nocturnist options.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Clinical experience in hospital-based obstetrical and acute gynecologic care.
• Experience supervising residents and students is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise OB/GYN residents and medical students.
• Oversee OB/GYN care in the Emergency Department, Labor and Delivery, and perinatal safety.
• Coordinate admissions from Women’s Health Clinic and manage transfers.
• Provide OB/GYN consultations hospital-wide in collaboration with Maternal–Fetal Medicine.
