Qualifications

• Board Certification required.
• Ohio Licensed or IMLC Eligible for Compact License preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year post-residency clinical experience required.
• Must have clinical OB/GYN experience within the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide per diem OB/GYN hospitalist coverage including OB triage, admissions, and delivery for hospitalized patients.
• Collaborate with on-site OBs and professionals for triage visits and deliveries.
• Manage OB/GYN emergency department patients and coordinate obstetric care.
• Communicate in real-time with office physicians regarding triage visits and new issues.

• Multidisciplinary OB critical care.
• 24-hour in house shift coverage for obstetric and gynecologic emergencies.

• Trauma evaluation of pregnant patients.
• Coordination of obstetric care and follow up.

Pediatrix does cover your travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice.
