Board-certified OB/GYN with at least 1 year of clinical experience is required. Ohio license or IMLC eligibility is accepted, with Pediatrix providing license/DEA assistance where needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide OB triage, admissions and inpatient care for hospitalized patients.

Per Diem ** Ob/Gyn Hospitalists Needed in Athens, Ohio

A successful OB hospitalist program should be a collaboration among your hospital's staff and affiliated obstetricians, family practice physicians and sub-specialists. Our experienced, board-eligible or board-certified OB Hospitalists provide OB triage, admissions inpatient care, and delivery for hospitalized patients. This cost-effective, cohesive approach improves clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.

• Athens, Ohio is located in the Eastern part of the state, flanking Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh is just over the state line) and Northern West Virgina.
• Less than 2 hours East of Columbus, Ohio and 2 hours South of Cleveland, Ohio

• Must be Board Certified OBGYN
• Must have a minimum of 1 year recent clinical experience
• Need Ohio license or active IMLC
• Pediatrix does provide assistance in obtaining state Medical License and DEA, if needed

Pediatrix does cover your travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice.

We also cover your malpractice insurance for this W-2 per diem position.
