Job summary

Gobravvo is seeking an OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) to join our clinical team and provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological care in a hospital setting. This full-time role supports community physicians and midwives, and focuses on safety and best practices in labor and delivery.

The position offers a 24-hour shift model with coverage across 28-day blocks, dedicated CME support, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Board certification/eligibility in OB-GYN.
• Active medical license in the state of assignment or ability to obtain one.
• Experience in obstetrical emergency care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for obstetric and gynecological needs, including contraceptive services where available.
• Manage high-risk obstetric patients, leveraging Maternal Fetal Medicine consultation as necessary via telehealth or in-person support.
• Lead and participate in daily Labor and Delivery board rounds, contributing clinical expertise and care planning.
• Serve as the designated Safety Officer on Labor and Delivery, advocating for optimal patient safety and outcomes.
• Support and collaborate with community physicians and midwives, providing practice coverage or clinical assistance as appropriate and safe.
