Job summary

gobravvo is seeking an OB Hospitalist Physician to join our clinical team in a full-time capacity. The role involves delivering comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care on a Labor and Delivery unit, with collaboration from Maternal Fetal Medicine and telemedicine support to manage high-risk cases.

The position emphasizes patient safety, team-based care, and support for community clinicians, with a structured shift schedule primarily consisting of 24-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN.
• Active state medical license for the assigned hospital site.
• Experience in obstetrical emergency care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct obstetrical and gynecological care, including high-risk and emergency cases.
• Deliver contraceptive services at eligible hospitals.
• Participate in daily Labor and Delivery board rounds.
• Serve as the Safety Officer on Labor and Delivery, ensuring patient safety and best practices.
• Support community physicians and midwives through clinical assistance and coverage as needed.
• Collaborate with Maternal Fetal Medicine via telephone or video consultation as required.
