Job summary

gobravvo is seeking an OB Hospitalist Physician to join our clinical team in a hospital setting. This full-time position focuses on obstetrical and gynecological care, including high-risk cases, with collaboration across specialties to ensure optimal outcomes.

The ideal candidate is board-certified or board-eligible in OB/GYN, holds a current medical license for the assignment state, and brings extensive obstetric emergency experience. Strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in OB/GYN.
• Current and valid medical license in the state of assignment.
• Extensive experience in managing obstetrical emergencies is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver obstetrical and gynecological care to a broad patient population, including contraceptive services where available.
• Provide direct care to high-risk obstetric patients, collaborating with Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists as needed.
• Participate in daily Labor and Delivery rounds to monitor and manage care plans.
• Fulfill the role of Safety Officer on the Labor and Delivery unit, ensuring safest outcomes.
• Support community physicians and midwives with clinical assistance and coverage within safe parameters.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and participate in quality improvement initiatives for obstetrical care.
