Job summary

Allina Health is seeking an OB/GYN Hospitalist to join a premier 24/7 hospitalist program in Minnesota, delivering obstetric and gynecologic care across multiple hospital sites.

You will collaborate with Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists, CNMs, family medicine OB physicians, and experienced nursing staff to provide high-quality, team-based care and coordinate with community providers while maintaining work-life balance.

Qualifications

  • MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training required.
  • BE/BC with ABMS or AOA within Obstetrics and Gynecology upon hire.
  • Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain).
  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI).
  • Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for credentialing and hospital privileges.
  • Current BLS certification with AHA, ARC or Allina in-house BLS training within 30 days of hire.

Practice Details:

Provide comprehensive inpatient OB/GYN care, including Labor & Delivery, postpartum management, obstetric emergencies, and inpatient gynecologic consultations.

Serve as a key member of a 24/7 hospitalist program, caring for both assigned and unassigned patients while ensuring rapid response to high-acuity clinical situations.

Collaborate closely with Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists, Certified Nurse Midwives, Family Medicine OB physicians, and community OB/GYN providers to deliver coordinated, team-based care.

Manage a diverse patient population ranging from routine obstetrics to medically and surgically complex maternal cases, including urgent operative deliveries.

Utilize Epic (Excellian) within a flexible hospitalist model offering shared day, night, weekend, and holiday coverage.

Licenses/Certifications
