Job summary

Kernodle Clinic in Burlington, NC seeks a patient-focused PSA/Phone Team member for the OB/GYN department. You will greet patients, answer calls, collect information, and support clinical staff with accurate data entry in EPIC. Customer service and teamwork are essential in a busy multi-specialty setting.

Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Bilingual is preferred. Experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service and computer skills are required.
• Medical knowledge and ability to multitask in a busy clinic are essential.
• EPIC experience is a plus but not required.
• Bilingual abilities are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for clinic visits by reviewing upcoming patients and ensuring documentation is ready.
• Schedule and verify appointments, confirming patient demographics.
• Obtain necessary signatures on forms and check-in patients with correct info in EPIC.
• Check out patients and arrange follow-up appointments and tests as directed.
• Answer calls, relay messages accurately to physicians and staff.
