Job summary

El Rio is seeking an Eligibility Specialist to support their comprehensive health services in Flagstaff, Arizona. Responsibilities include determining eligibility for various health programs, training staff, and assisting consumers with enrollment in the ACA Marketplace.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma and 3 years of relevant experience, along with strong customer service skills and an understanding of health programs. Bilingual candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience as an Eligibility Assistant, Outreach Worker, or Certified Application Counselor.
• Certification and licensing as a Certified Application Counselor for the Affordable Care Act.
• Level I fingerprint clearance card in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative duties for eligibility determination.
• Serve as trainer and mentor to new and existing staff.
• Provide information on eligibility options and requirements.
