Job summary

Elk Ridge Community Health is seeking an Eligibility Specialist to determine eligibility for ACA Marketplace and AHCCCS, assist clients, and connect them with appropriate programs. You will work with staff to recruit, enroll, and retain consumers in value-based care services.

The role requires understanding of government and private health programs, strong customer service, and the ability to present information clearly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Eligibility Assistant or CAC.
• Valid Level I fingerprint clearance card.
• CAC certification or commitment to obtain CAC certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs tasks supporting departmental operations with accuracy and professionalism.
• Maintains confidentiality per HIPAA and organizational standards.
• Gains knowledge of ACA, AHCCCS, and related programs.
• Provides enrollment assistance for HEAPlus and ACA Marketplace.
• Generates and distributes reports for internal/external stakeholders.
• Supports consumers with eligibility options for Medicaid (AHCCCS) and ACA marketplace.
