Job summary

Austin Regional Clinic is seeking a Senior Business Office Patient Call Coordinator (OB/GYN) for a 16-hour-per-week role in Austin, TX. The incumbent will book OB/GYN appointments in Epic, verify demographics, and communicate with patients to ensure accurate scheduling and account information.

The position requires a high school diploma, Windows PC experience, and customer service skills; healthcare experience is a plus. Training on-site with potential work-from-home after ~90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience using a PC in a Windows environment.
• Preferred: healthcare setting, OB/Gyn experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Six months+ experience in Patient Call Coordinator or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Booking OB/GYN appointments in Epic according to provider restrictions.
• Confirming or updating demographic information and notifying patients of balances.
• Adhering to scheduling protocols across multiple locations.
• Using available resources to support efficient appointment scheduling.
• Meeting department metrics and call standards.
• Screening and directing incoming calls; directing callers as needed.
• Verifying MyChart appointment scheduling accuracy.
• Following OSHA, HIPAA, compliance and Code of Conduct policies.
• Working holiday shifts as required by policy.
• Maintaining regular and dependable attendance.
