Job summary

Federally Qualified Health Center in San Ysidro, CA is expanding its OB/GYN team to provide full-scope obstetrics and gynecology care across outpatient and inpatient settings. The role supports preventive women's health in a mission-driven environment serving a diverse community.

The physician will handle prenatal care, gynecology procedures, and surgical consultations, with assigned OR days and a manageable patient load. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM, with on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school (MD/DO).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in a primary care specialty.
• Current CA MD/DO license and active DEA registration.
• CPR certification and completed clinical training.

Responsibilities

• Full-scope OB/GYN services in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Prenatal care and gynecology consultations/procedures.
• Surgical consultations and assigned operating room days.
• One weekly call shift with occasional weekend call.

Compensation:

Hourly pay range: $134.93–$183.43/hour, based on experience and qualifications. Over 6 weeks of time off per year. $3,200/year for CME. Relocation assistance.

Job/Practice Description:

OB/GYN Monday - Friday, 8AM-5PM. One call shift per week, occasional weekend call. Average 18-20 patients per day.

• Full-scope Obstetrics and Gynecology services in both outpatient and inpatient settings
• Prenatal care
• Gynecology consultations and procedures, including: Endometrial biopsies (EMB) IUD insertions/removals Nexplanon insertions/removals Other routine gynecologic procedures
• Surgical consultations
• Assigned operating room (OR) days

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Medicine (Doctorate level)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in a primary care specialty
• Current CA MD/DO and DEA license
• CPR certification
• Completion of clinical training
