Job summary

NOW Healthcare Recruitment is seeking an OB/GYN physician to join a Federally Qualified Health Center in San Ysidro, California. This full-time role focuses on comprehensive women's health in outpatient and inpatient settings.

The position offers Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm with one call shift per week and an average of 18–20 patients daily. Relocation assistance, CME support, competitive pay, and excellent benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Medicine (Doctorate level).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in a primary care specialty.
• Current CA MD/DO and DEA license.
• CPR certification and completion of clinical training.

Responsibilities

• Full-scope OB/GYN services in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Prenatal care and gynecology consultations and procedures.
• Endometrial biopsies (EMB), IUD/Nexplanon insertions/removals, and other routine gynecologic procedures.
• Average 18-20 patients per day; one on-call shift per week; assigned OR days.

Compensation

• Hourly pay range: $134.93-$183.43/hour, based on experience and qualifications
• Over 6 weeks of time off per year
• $3,200/ year for CME

Job/Practice Description

• Monday - Friday, 8AM-5PM
• One call shift per week, occasional weekend call
• Average 18-20 patients per day
• Full-scope Obstetrics and Gynecology services in both outpatient and inpatient settings
• Prenatal care
• Gynecology consultations and procedures, including:
• Endometrial biopsies (EMB)
• IUD insertions/removals
• Nexplanon insertions/removals
• Other routine gynecologic procedures
• Surgical consultations
• Assigned operating room (OR) days

Requirements
