Eckerd Connects is seeking an OA/CTS Director to lead the Career Transition Services and Outcomes Administration programs. You will plan, direct, and supervise all activities, ensuring proper scheduling and effective implementation across program areas at the Potomac Job Corps center in Washington, DC.

The role requires supervisory experience, relevant degrees, and compliance with policy including drug screening.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, business, communications, or closely related field and two years related supervisory experience.
• Associate's degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, business, communications, or closely related field and four years related supervisory experience.
• Prefer Master's degree and expansive experience with disadvantaged youth.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record preferred.
• Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.

Responsibilities

• The OA/CTS Director plans, directs, and supervises the activities of the OA and Career Transition Services Programs, including ensuring proper planning, scheduling, and effective implementation of all activities in program areas.
• Prepares and submits reports as required. Ensures proper records on student progress are maintained by the OA/ Career Transition Department.
• The OA/CTS Director ensures that case notes and PCDPs are up to date per PRH.
• Adheres to cohort enrollment, case management efforts, and career transition services of two (2) industry clusters (Health Care and Construction).
• Assesses personnel promotions, transfers, and merit evaluations within the department. Conducts and prepares performance appraisals.
