Job summary

Eckerd Connects is seeking an OA/CTS Director to lead the Career Transition Services Programs in St. Petersburg, FL. This salaried, exempt role directs planning, scheduling, and execution of program activities and ensures accurate progress reporting.

The position oversees case notes, PCDPs, and performance evaluations within two clusters: Health Care and Construction. A bachelor's degree and supervisory experience are required; a master’s is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and two years related supervisory experience
• Associate’s degree and four years related supervisory experience
• Master’s degree preferred with expansive experience with disadvantaged youth
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record preferred
• Pass a drug screen per policy

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and supervises the OA and Career Transition Services Programs including planning, scheduling, and implementation of activities.
• Prepares and submits reports; maintains records on student progress by the OA/ Career Transition Department.
• Ensures case notes and PCDPs are up to date per PRH.
• Oversees enrollment, case management, and career transition services for two industry clusters (Health Care and Construction).
• Assesses personnel promotions, transfers, and merit evaluations; conducts performance appraisals.

Annual Salary: $65,000 - $68,400

Duties and Responsibilities

• The OA/CTS Director reports to the Center Director and is a salaried, exempt position.
• The OA/CTS Director plans, directs, and supervises the activities of the OA and Career Transition Services Programs, including ensuring proper planning, scheduling, and effective implementation of all activities in program areas.
• Prepares and submits reports as required. Ensures proper records on student progress are maintained by the OA/ Career Transition Department.
• The OA/CTS Director ensures that case notes and PCDPs are up to date per PRH.
• Adheres to cohort enrollment, case management efforts, and career transition services of two (2) industry clusters (Health Care and Construction).
• Assesses personnel promotions, transfers, and merit evaluations within the department. Conducts and prepares performance appraisals.

• Associate’s degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, business, communications, or closely related field, and four years related supervisory experience
• Prefer Master’s degree and expansive experience with disadvantaged youth.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record preferred.
• Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
