Job summary

Connect Centric in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced IT Technology Application Trainer to design and deliver training programs for workplace IT applications. This hybrid role requires collaboration with IT and cross-functional teams to elevate staff productivity and technical proficiency.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of IT training or instructional design experience, strong communication, and familiarity with LMS, CRM, and ERP tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in IT training, instructional design, or education—ideally in a corporate or non-profit environment.
• Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, ERP platforms, and other business applications.
• Strong communication and public speaking skills.
• Ability to explain technical topics to non-technical users.
• Familiarity with instructional design principles and Learning Management Systems (LMS) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Curriculum development: identify training needs and objectives; design curricula; develop materials and e-learning content.
• Training delivery: lead in-person and virtual sessions; tailor content; provide live demos and hands-on guidance; offer ongoing support.
• Evaluation & feedback: measure training effectiveness; identify improvements; track progress and provide refresher training.
• Documentation & reporting: maintain training records; generate summary reports; document IT best practices and user guides.
• Continuous learning: stay updated on workplace technology trends and pursue professional development.
