DEPCOM Power is seeking a Site Technician to support our solar sites across various locations in the U.S. The role involves reporting daily to perform inspections and maintenance of solar equipment.

Locations include: Ft. Stockton, TX; Kayenta, AZ; El Paso, TX; Richmond, VA; Willard, NC; Bowman, SC; Orangeburg, SC; Damon, TX.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform inspections of site equipment including inverters, transformers, modules, trackers, weather stations, and soil monitors.
2. Maintain records of site activities, visitors, substation work, battery logs, and generator operation.
3. Coordinate troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance with component manufacturers.
4. Conduct daily sweeps to verify tracker systems and replace faulty components.
5. Ensure safety protocols are followed for personnel and equipment.
6. Test and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
7. Inspect and maintain inverters, filters, fuses, and perform basic repairs.
8. Inspect arrays, modules, and tracker systems periodically.

Qualifications:

• Electrical experience through work, military, or post-high school education.

Preferred:

• Over 1 year of experience with PV systems or related power generation equipment.
• Knowledge of DC systems, wiring, and applications.
• Experience with maintenance tracking software.

Pay range: $25 - $37 per hour, with eligibility for variable pay.

Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
