Position Overview

Reporting to the Regional O&M Technician Manager, the O&M Solar Technician will take responsibility for a portfolio of utility-scale solar PV sites in Mercer County, PA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SMA inverters and ATI tracking systems and be comfortable performing both corrective and preventative maintenance activities in the field.

This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on solar PV systems, including inspections, testing, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical components, including SMA inverters and ATI trackers.
• Respond to system alerts, faults, and performance issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Coordinate and perform corrective maintenance, including replacement of components and commissioning of systems.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Support performance monitoring and diagnostics with minimal supervision.
• Conduct site visits and safety inspections.
• Travel up to 20% to support other regional sites as needed
  
  

Qualifications

Must be passionate about the renewable energy business, hardworking and thrive in the fast pace of a rapidly growing company. In addition, the candidate must possess:

• 2+ years of experience in solar O&M or related electrical field.
• Familiarity with SMA central or string inverters and ATI (Array Technologies Inc.) tracking systems.
• Experience with low voltage systems, SCADA, and performance monitoring tool such as PowerTrack, Solaredge, and Locus.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• OSHA 10 or 30, NFPA 70E training, or willingness to obtain within 3 months of start date.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Strong attention to safety and quality standards
