Job summary

Fluor seeks an experienced Operations Manager to maintain key client relationships, manage projects to contract terms, and identify value-added opportunities that maximize profitability. The role requires leadership to drive risk-aware planning, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration across site operations.

Responsibilities include overseeing maintenance planning, scheduling, and outage activities, plus developing resource plans and ensuring efficient execution while negotiating changes

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of contract terms and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Maintain client relationships through regular communication and feedback.
• Manage work to contract terms and optimize returns.
• Identify profit-share opportunities and incentive programs.
• Assess and manage project risks; report to leadership.
• Identify future client needs and upsell opportunities.
• Apply analytical tools to improve client operations and profitability.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Act as first-line contact to the Client Plant Manager; conduct quarterly interviews.
• Oversee maintenance planning, scheduling, and outage activities.
• Provide estimates for work orders and ensure compliance with contracts.
• Develop resource plans and ensure efficient execution of work.
• Review contracts; negotiate changes; establish annual goals.
• Approve salary rate changes in coordination with owners.
• Inspect drawings and determine additional engineering design needs.
