Job summary

Tarian Group in New York, NY is seeking a Security Officer to help protect people and property on-site, provide customer assistance, and respond to incidents in support of site operations.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, the ability to obtain necessary licenses, and strong vision and physical stamina. Driving may be required in some roles; benefits are provided. This is a full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• Completed High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications.
• Strong vision abilities including color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift, move or lift objects up to 80 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Tarian driving guidelines if applicable (for Driving Roles).
• Previous work experience with the public in a service setting.

Responsibilities

• Security Officers are responsible for maintaining security and safety throughout the organizaion - and serve as a visible deterrent to illegal activities.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
