Job summary

SLSCO is seeking a Project Manager to lead large-scale public-sector construction projects valued at $50M and above in New York City. This role involves project oversight from planning to closeout, ensuring compliance with NYC regulations and fostering collaboration among stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing large-scale construction projects, preferably in public sector.
• Strong knowledge of AIA contract documents and NYC procurement regulations.
• Experience with MWBE compliance and prevailing wage requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules and budgets.
• Oversee change orders, RFIs, and contractual processes.
• Ensure adherence to NYC agency guidelines and MWBE participation.
• Act as primary liaison between clients and subcontractors.
• Supervise and mentor project engineers and field staff.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Utilize project management software to track performance.
