Job summary

SLSCO in New York City is seeking a Project Engineer to support the delivery of public construction projects ranging from $10M to $500M. You will work under a Superintendent and gain hands-on experience with Procore, Primavera P6, CMiC, while assisting with schedules, submittals, RFIs, and compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
Preferred 1-3 years in construction management or project coordination.
Proficiency with construction software tools: Procore, Primavera P6, CMiC (or similar).

Responsibilities

Support the Superintendent and project team with daily coordination of field and office activities.
Track schedules, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and meeting documentation.
Assist with subcontractor communication and compliance tracking, including MWBE participation and local hiring requirements.
Maintain accurate project records and ensure documentation is organized in Procore, CMiC, or other platforms.
Monitor project progress and flag potential issues to the Superintendent and project team.
Coordinate logistics, procurement, and field operations to support smooth project delivery.
Prepare reports and presentations for internal and client-facing meetings.
