Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking a driven Project Engineer to support project delivery for active New York projects.

Based on site with the client, you will assist the Senior Project Manager with RFI tracking, contract document review, forecast and cost scheduling, and change order review. You will coordinate trades and design-field staff, perform payments review, and conduct field inspections to ensure QA/QC and safety.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience on large projects valued above $10 million.
• In-depth knowledge of RFI tracking, contract document review, forecast and cost scheduling, preparation of change orders, and review of payments.
• Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, delivery systems, and components.
• Experience inspecting large-scale building construction projects.
• Knowledgeable of Uniform Building Code.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office applications and scheduling tools.
• OSHA 30 certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate progression of trades and design-field staff on active projects.
• Support Senior Project Manager with RFI tracking, contract document review, forecast and cost scheduling, and change order review.
• Review payments and assist with payment applications and schedules.
• Conduct field inspections and ensure QA/QC compliance, safety, and project quality.
• Prepare meeting minutes, regular reports, and assist with on-site project activities.
