Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a driven Project Engineer for our New York, NY field office to provide skilled project management and on-site support. You will help reduce delivery costs and add business value by applying proven management techniques across multiple projects.

You will coordinate trades, assist with RFIs, change orders, forecasts, and payments, and ensure QA/QC, safety, and client standards are met on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience on large projects valued above $10M.
• Deep knowledge of RFI tracking, contract document review, forecast and cost scheduling.
• Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction delivery systems and components.
• Experience inspecting large-scale building construction projects.
• OSHA 30 certification and proficient MS Office usage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate progression of trades and design-field staff on active projects.
• Support Senior Project Manager with RFI tracking, review of contract documents, forecasts, and change orders.
• Review payments and assist with site inspections and QA/QC to ensure quality and safety.
