Job summary

Babbel is seeking a Performance Marketing Intern in New York City to help run paid ad campaigns across search, app, social, and display. You’ll measure results, build reports, and assist in optimizing campaigns from ideation to launch.

The internship offers hands-on experience in a real subscription business and exposure to growth testing. You’ll work with experienced marketers, learn how to interpret data, and contribute to decision-making on what to test next.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a college or university program. Marketing, business, or data-related majors are a plus.
• You like numbers and feel comfortable in Excel or Google Sheets
• You're organized and can juggle a few things at once
• You communicate clearly, in writing and in conversation
• Bonus, but not required: experience with ad platforms, analytics tools, or subscription businesses

Responsibilities

• Help run paid ad campaigns across search, app, social, and display: get them set up, check everything is working, and keep an eye on budgets
• Build regular performance reports and track the numbers that matter, like spend, installs, subscriptions, and the cost of winning each new subscriber
• Dig into the data to spot what's working and what isn't, then suggest what to try next
• Study our ads and our competitors' ads to find the hooks, messages, and formats that get people to sign up
• Help run tests on ad copy, creative, landing pages, and audiences, and write up what we learned
• Work with teams across Creative, Analytics, Product, and Martech
