Job summary

Rho seeks an IT Engineer to own the technology backbone for its NYC office and distributed team. This hands-on, in-office role focuses on employee IT support, device and identity management, and scalable IT operations at a high-growth fintech.

You will manage macOS and Windows devices, MDM, SSO, Google Workspace, Slack, and office IT infra while building self-service resources and onboarding new hires for a seamless day-one experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT support or IT operations experience.
• Hands-on experience with macOS and Windows, MDM, and SSO.
• Strong knowledge of Google Workspace, Slack, and SaaS administration.
• Experience managing office IT infrastructure (networking, AV, conference room).
• Excellent troubleshooting and a customer-service mindset.
• Clear communication and the ability to document processes.
• On-site 5 days per week in NYC office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for employee IT support — hardware, software, access, and troubleshooting.
• Own device lifecycle management across macOS and Windows, including provisioning and offboarding.
• Administer core identity and SaaS systems (SSO, Google Workspace, Slack).
• Manage the NYC office IT infrastructure — networking, AV, conference rooms, on-site hardware.
• Build and document IT processes, runbooks, and self-service resources.
• Partner with Security, People, and Finance on access controls and asset management.
• Lead IT onboarding for new hires and ensure a smooth day-one experience.
