Job summary

Bonnie Clyde Eyewear is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our NYC flagship. You will support the Store Manager in driving weekly and monthly sales, maintaining an outstanding customer experience, and upholding brand standards in a welcoming, community-focused store.

You will lead by example on the sales floor, train and coach associates, manage daily operations, and own the store in the manager’s absence, ensuring consistent performance and brand storytelling across all touchpoints.

Qualifications

• Experience driving store sales and KPIs.
• Strong customer service mindset.
• Ability to train and coach staff.
• Open availability for NYC in-person schedule.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in achieving weekly and monthly sales goals.
• Monitor store performance, including sales, traffic, conversion, and other KPIs.
• Identify opportunities to improve sales and customer experience.
• Motivate the team throughout the day and help maintain a sales-driven store environment.
• Deliver a welcoming, knowledgeable, and personalized customer experience.
• Build relationships with customers and help develop repeat and VIP clientele.
• Ensure the team can communicate the brand's story, products, history, and ethos.
• Support in-store events and activations that strengthen the store's connection to the local community.
• Support daily store operations, including opening and closing, POS procedures, cash handling, inventory, and store maintenance.
• Maintain accurate inventory and assist with regular counts and audits.
• Lead by example on the sales floor and step in wherever needed.
• Take ownership of the store and team when the Store Manager is not present.
