Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks a Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Associate for its New York City office, targeting 3rd-5th year associates to contribute to the Privacy and Data Security practice group.

You will advise on GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy laws, handle incident response, due diligence, and privacy-related negotiations in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, with domestic and overseas travel as needed.

JD required; bar admission preferred; strong written and verbal communication essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with international, federal, and state privacy laws, including GDPR, CCPA, BIPA, and others.
• Strong academic credentials and time management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility for domestic and overseas travel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review privacy policies and data protection agreements.
• Negotiate privacy and security provisions of contracts.
• Conduct privacy impact assessments and transactional due diligence.
