Job summary

Superior Walls of Upstate New York is seeking a safety-focused Crane Operator to support the installation of precast concrete foundation systems. You will safely transport, set up, inspect, and operate truck-mounted cranes at residential construction sites while collaborating with installation crews.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of crane operation experience, a NY Crane Operator Certification, and a CDL Class B license.

Qualifications

• OSHA and ANSI crane safety standards knowledge.
• Ability to read manufacturer specifications and job-site conditions.
• Experience with pre-trip, daily and monthly equipment inspections.
• Proven ability to operate crane safely on residential sites.
• Team communication with installers and drivers.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate truck-mounted cranes on residential sites.
• Transport crane equipment to and from job sites.
• Set up and stabilize the crane per specs and site conditions.
• Perform routine inspections and report issues promptly.
• Maintain crane and hoisting mechanisms in safe condition.
• Lift, position, and place precast wall panels accurately.
• Coordinate with installers, drivers and crews to complete installs.
• Follow OSHA/ANSI and company safety policies; wear PPE.
• Complete inspection reports and equipment documentation.
