Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL Class B license required; Class A preferred.
• Crane Operator Certified in the State of New York.
• Minimum of two (2) years of crane operation or related construction equipment experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and ANSI standards related to crane operations.
• Strong understanding of safe lifting practices and job site safety.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and DOT medical examination.
• Ability to complete required daily, weekly, and monthly equipment inspections.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate truck-mounted cranes on residential construction sites.
• Transport crane equipment to and from job sites.
• Set up and stabilize the crane according to manufacturer specifications and site conditions.
• Perform pre-trip, daily, and monthly equipment inspections.
• Conduct routine maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly.
• Maintain the crane and hoisting mechanisms in safe operating condition.
• Operate crane controls with precision to lift and place precast concrete wall panels.
• Work with installers, truck drivers, and crews to complete installations safely.
• Follow OSHA regulations, ANSI standards, and company safety policies.
• Wear PPE and maintain a safe work environment.
• Carry basic tools for adjustments and field repairs.
• Complete required inspection reports and equipment documentation.
