Job summary

Plymouth Rock is seeking a Paralegal to support the New York House Counsel team in NY Bodily Injury & Subrogation practice. The role requires keen attention to detail, with 3+ years of NY BI litigation experience and the ability to meet deadlines.

You will draft BI pleadings, prepare submissions, assist with discovery, and help with trial preparation, including managing documents in NYSCEF and liaising with witnesses. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• College degree and/or Paralegal certificate preferred.
• Minimum 3 years litigation experience.
• Knowledge of NY BI litigation required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient with MS Office and case management software.

Responsibilities

• Draft BI pleadings, discovery demands, responses, motions, subpoenas, and EBT notices.
• Prepare BI arbitration submissions and supplemental submissions.
• Review NOI and jury demands.
• Assist with summary judgment motions and affidavits.
• Conduct legal research on personal injury litigation.
• Support trial preparation and witness coordination.
• File documents electronically via NYSCEF and manage case docs.
• Maintain case management data and track deadlines.
• Respond to client or claim inquiries.
• Collaborate with team to ensure efficiency and deadlines.
