Job summary

Anduril Industries in Atlanta seeks an NX Developer to accelerate design workflows by building automation and tooling for Siemens NX CAD. You will own NXOpen projects across C/C++, Python, and .NET, delivering faster, smarter environments for mechanical and electrical engineers.

You will collaborate with PLM and cross-functional teams, write journaling scripts, deploy templates and libraries, and ensure consistency across the engineering organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a CAD development role.
• Degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical degree.
• Proficiency in NX Open API development using C/C++, Python, Java, or .NET (C#/VB.NET).
• Hands-on NX CAD administration including templates, drafting standards, part families, and libraries.
• Experience creating NX journaling scripts and custom automation toolkits.
• Understanding CAD data management, naming conventions, revision control, and BOM structures.
• Empathize with end-users and translate needs into features.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain NX Open API customizations to automate design tasks.
• Build NX CAD admin tools including templates, libraries, and check-mate rules.
• Create custom NX dialogs, menus, and toolbars to streamline workflows.
• Develop journal-based automation scripts and NX Open applications.
• Collaborate with PLM engineers for NX–Teamcenter integration in managed mode.
• Work with cross-functional teams to finish business-critical projects.
• Troubleshoot NX issues including deployment, site configuration, and toolkit distribution.
