Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an NX Developer to join the Engineering Systems and Tools team in Bellevue, WA. You will design, develop, and maintain NX Open API customizations to automate repetitive design tasks and enforce engineering standards.

You will build NX CAD administrative tools, templates, and reuse libraries to ensure consistency across the engineering organization, and create custom dialogs and toolbars to streamline workflows for mechanical and electrical design teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a CAD development role in fast-paced environments.
• Degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Proficiency in NX Open API using C/C++, Python, Java, or .NET.
• Hands-on NX CAD administration, templates, drafting standards, and libraries.
• Experience creating NX journaling scripts and automation toolkits.
• Understanding CAD data management: naming, revision control, BOM.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain NX Open API customizations to automate tasks.
• Build NX CAD admin tools, templates, and reuse libraries for consistency.
• Create custom NX dialogs, menus, and toolbars to streamline workflows.
• Develop journal-based automation scripts and NX Open applications.
• Collaborate with PLM engineers for NX–Teamcenter integration in managed mode.
• Troubleshoot NX issues including deployment, site configuration, and distribution.
