URBN is seeking a Nuuly Spotting Clerk in Levittown, PA to identify stains, determine spotting procedures by fabric and stain type, and apply chemical solutions to remove stains. You should be a motivated team player with strong organizational and communication skills, thriving in a multitasking environment and open to new assignments.

You will inspect stains, apply solvents, and operate equipment like vacuum, steam, or air to prepare garments.

Qualifications

• Must have color vision and be able to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect spot stains to determine composition and select appropriate solvents.
• Apply chemicals to neutralize effects of solvents.
• Spray steam, water, or air to flush out chemicals and finish fabric preparation.
• Clean fabric using vacuum or air hose.
• Position garments for stain treatment on worktable or marble slab.
• Apply bleaching powder and steam where appropriate for stain removal.
• Provide training to associates as needed.
• Take on additional responsibilities to support team goals.

Role Summary

As a Nuuly Spotting Clerk, your primary role involves identifying stains on fabrics, determining the optimal spotting procedure based on fabric type and stain nature, and applying chemical solutions to effectively remove stains. You should be a motivated team player with a positive attitude, possessing strong organizational and communication skills. You must thrive in a multitasking environment, paying meticulous attention to detail, and being open to new and diverse assignments. Additionally, you should be capable of collaborating effectively with all organizational levels, including fellow employees, customers, and management.

Role Responsibilities

• Inspect spot stains to determine their composition and select appropriate solvents.

• Apply chemicals to neutralize the effects of solvents.

• Sprays steam, water, or air over a spot to flush out chemicals, dry material, raise nap, or brighten color.

• Clean fabric using a vacuum or air hose.

• Spread the garment on a worktable and position the stain over the vacuum head or on a marble slab.

• Apply bleaching powder to spot and spray with steam to remove stains from certain fabrics that do not respond to other cleaning solvents.

• Provide training to associates as needed.

• Willingly takes on additional responsibilities to contribute to team success.

Role Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school degree or GED required
• Knowledge of textiles
• Skillful at removing stains and maintaining the integrity of the fabric
• Must have color vision
• Maintain acceptable attendanceand must be able to work overtime as required
• Comprehend and follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standards

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk throughout a shift
• Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods
• Reach, pull, push, and lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 pounds
• Operate warehouse equipment safely as required for the position (i.e. pallet jack, box cutter, carts) which requires coordinated movements
