Job summary

Avir at Sealy is seeking an experienced full-time Dietary Manager to plan, purchase, prepare and ensure delivery of nutritious, high-quality food to residents within budget, in compliance with dietary guidelines and state/federal regulations.

Responsibilities include developing menus with the consultant dietician, supervising dietary operations, maintaining quality for regular and modified diets, and ensuring proper storage of supplies per health regulations.

Qualifications

• Prior nursing home experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Texas Food Safety Manager Certification or Certified Dietary Manager.

Responsibilities

• Plan, purchase, prepare and ensure delivery of nutritious, high-quality food to residents within the limits of the approved budget.
• Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate menu patterns under the supervision of the consultant dietician.
• Evaluate and monitor all aspects of Dietary operation, making recommendations for conformance level that will provide nutritionally adequate, quality food.
• Maintain high quality food for regular and modified diets.
• Purchase and receive food and non-food supplies are stored in accordance with Department of Health regulations.
• Ensure that food and non-food supplies are stored in accordance with Department of Health regulations.
