Avir Health Group in Texas is seeking an experienced full-time Dietary Manager to plan, purchase, prepare, and deliver nutritious, high-quality meals to residents within approved budgets and in compliance with Dietary allowances and regulations.
Responsibilities include developing and evaluating menu patterns, monitoring operations, maintaining high quality for regular and modified diets, and ensuring proper storage and purchase procedures in line with state health regulations.
We are seeking an experienced full-time Dietary Manager to join our team!Plan, purchase, prepare and ensure delivery of nutritious, high-quality food to residents within the limits of the approved budget, in accordance with the recommended Dietary allowances of the "Food and Nutrition Board" of the "National Academy of Sciences," and in compliance with state/federal regulations and internal policies.
Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate menu patterns under the supervision of the consultant dietician.
Evaluate and monitor all aspects of Dietary operation, making recommendations for conformance level that will provide nutritionally adequate, quality food.
Maintain high quality food for regular and modified diets.
Purchase and receive food and non-food supplies are stored in accordance with Department of Health regulations.

Previous nursing home experience preferred
Previous supervisory experience preferred
Texas Food Safety Manager Certification or Certified Dietary Manager
