Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; ServSafe Certification a plus.
• Must be able to comprehend and implement recipes with accuracy.
• Ability to operate commercial kitchen appliances safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices for food preparation and cleanup.
• Must be able to prepare meals by scheduled meal times and maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare wholesome, nutritious meals in quantities to meet scheduled meal times.
• Record accurate meals served for each meal or snack.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Order food supplies according to the current menu.
• Record temperatures of refrigerators/freezers and keep food properly stored.
• Participate in mandatory Easter Seals trainings and meet required hours.
