Job summary

Easter Seals is seeking a Nutrition Technician to prepare and serve meals in accordance with CACFP meal pattern requirements. Under the Center Manager, you will manage meal preparation, inventory, and health and safety standards to support a safe, nourishing program.

This role requires attention to detail, reliable attendance, and the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Candidates with ServSafe and prior food-service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with direct food preparation experience.
• ServSafe or related food-safety certification is a plus.
• Ability to understand and follow CACFP meal pattern requirements.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare wholesome meals per CACFP guidelines for meal times.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the kitchen and storage areas.
• Record meals served for each meal or snack and monitor inventories.
• Monitor temperatures of refrigerators/freezers and ensure food safety.
• Order food supplies according to current menu and manage supplies.
