Job summary

Opaa! is seeking an assistant to support the Director of Nutrition Services in daily operations of a food service account. You will help manage staff, schedule substitutes, and oversee transport and general administrative tasks to keep the operation running smoothly.

You will assist in compliance with recipes, menus, HACCP processes, and daily records, while coordinating with vendors and supporting monthly in-service meetings as required.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required + six months to one year of related experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Assist DNS in managing, directing, and scheduling the activities of all subordinate personnel.
• Arrange for substitute worker scheduling as the need arises.
• Transport food products around the district buildings and perform duties of online staff when substitutes unavailable.
