Job summary

Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL seeks a Supervisor, Food and Nutrition Services to lead daily operations in room service and retail areas. You will manage staff scheduling, training, and quality control to deliver nutritionally balanced meals and excellent service to patients and customers.

You will supervise budgeted hours, coordinate with management on cost controls, and drive improvements in patient menu planning, safety, and equipment maintenance while maintaining high customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition preferred.
• 3 years of food service supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to coach and mentor others, and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations in room service and/or retail to ensure timely, high-quality meals.
• Schedule staff according to department needs and budgeted hours.
• Implement cost controls while maintaining quality service.
• Hire, train, and evaluate department personnel; provide discipline when needed.
• Coordinate monthly meetings and in-service training; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Plan department direction and identify budget savings opportunities.
• Maintain sanitation, safety, and cash handling procedures.
• Provide support for F & N computer systems and interfaces with IS/vendors.
