Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a Nutrition Services Manager to lead and direct the Nutrition Services Department for patients, staff, and guests. You will set policies, manage budgeting, purchasing, and staff development while ensuring safety and compliance across hospital food services.

The role focuses on maintaining quality nutrition, coordinating patient meals with cafeteria operations, and driving continuous improvement in service delivery within a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Certified Dietary Manager or Dietetic Technician registration may be required by state.
• Active membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics if mandated by state/regulatory agency.
• Associate degree in food service preferred.
• Strong knowledge of nutrition, dietetics, HACCP, and hospital food service operations.
• At least three years of supervisory experience in healthcare food service.

Responsabilités

• Manage departmental budget as it relates to position.
• Purchasing, receiving, and inventory control of food and supplies.
• Ensure sanitation, temperature, and food handling per regulations.
• Determine quantity and portions of food and proper handling.
• Ensure adequate staffing and management of department employees.
• Coordinate production for patient meals and cafeteria line.
• Develop cafeteria menu as needed.
• Purchase food and assign duties for special needs or occasions.
