Job summary

Rock Creek Elementary is seeking a Nutrition Services Team Leader (Kitchen Lead) to oversee daily kitchen operations at our Ankeny site. The role focuses on safe, nutritious food production, staff supervision, and accurate record keeping, with a 6:30 AM start and a 2:00 PM finish.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Positive attitude and ability to promote a positive team culture.
• Successful large volume food service production of at least two-years.
• Effective written and oral communication.
• Experience leading a team to achieve department goals.

• Experience with basic word processing and 10-key.
• Ability to work in extreme hot/cold conditions.
• Must meet Job Analysis Physical Demands.
