Rock Creek Senior Living in Ankeny, Iowa is seeking a Cook (PRN) to prepare all menu items per recipes, delivering high-quality food with attractive presentation and timely service. You will follow health protocols, maintain hygiene, and ensure correct temperatures.

You must be 18+, communicate in English with residents, and hold a valid Food Handlers Card. This position offers a starting wage of $21.00–$22.00 per hour and is part of the Arrow Senior Living family, with opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• You must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• You will possess a current Food Handlers Card as specified per the Department of Health.
• You have demonstrated leadership, training and supervision skills.
• You possess proficient written and oral communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all menu items according to established standards and recipes, delivering quality food attractively and on time.
• Ensure health protocols: hygiene, sanitary food prep and proper temperatures.
• Know residents' preferences and participate in orientations and resident interactions.
