Job summary

Roseville Area Schools seeks a Nutrition Services Assistant for Falcon Heights Elementary School. This 3.25-hour-per-day, five-days-a-week position follows the school-year calendar with shifts typically 9:00 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.

No evenings, weekends, or holidays. Under supervision, you will prepare and serve meals, clean work areas and equipment, operate the point-of-sale terminal, and assist with basic kitchen tasks.

Qualifications

• Food handling experience is preferred.
• MSNA Certification preferred but not required.
• ServSafe Certification preferred but not required.

Roseville Area Schools has an opportunity as a Nutrition Services Assistant, a 3.25 hours/day, 5 days a week, 9 months position following the school year calendar (no nights, weekends or holidays). Work hours are generally between 9am - 1:15pm. The site manager sets final shift schedules. Roseville Area Schools is dedicated to helping our students learn to love healthy food.

Working Conditions

Work is performed in a commercial kitchen; moderate physical requirements, with risk of burns and cuts. Frequent lifting, carrying, and moving up to 30 pound containers of raw and prepared food, materials and equipment. May require working in a walk in freezer for periods of up to 30 minutes. The district safety training and equipment to all employees.

Compensation

Wages start at $18.52.

• One complimentary meal per shift and uniform allowance provided.
