Job summary

Lakewood Health System is seeking a part-time Nutrition Services Aide to support the Main Campus Nutrition Services team. You will operate the dishwasher, help assemble and deliver patient meals, and assist with meal service and stocking in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role emphasizes sanitation, teamwork, and reliable customer service while ensuring food safety standards are met. Prior food service or healthcare exposure is a plus, with accommodations available as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Experience in food service or healthcare is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate dishwasher and maintain sanitary kitchen and food service standards.
• Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, carts, and kitchen equipment.
• Assemble and deliver patient meals according to prescribed diets and schedules.
• Restock food supplies and reports shortages or equipment issues.
• Assist with meal service, tray prep, food deliveries, and basic food preparation.
• Complete daily cleaning tasks and monitor food safety and sanitation temperatures.
