Lakewood Health System is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to join the Medical/Surgical team on the night shift (11:00pm–7:00am) with rotating holidays and weekends. In this role you’ll provide compassionate patient care, assist with activities of daily living, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to maintain a safe environment.
Ideal candidates have Minnesota Nursing Assistant Certification (or willingness to obtain with employer support) and CPR/BLS certification.

This hospital nursing department supports the mission, vision, and values of Lakewood Health System. We are a 25-bed critical access hospital serving medical, surgical, and swing bed patients and families. Our team consists of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Health Unit Coordinators, and Nursing Assistants. The hospital team provides a plan of care based on provider instructions and nursing care planning to meet patient goals, providing optimal care for health and safety and promoting quality of life.
To provide individualized personal and nursing care to patients while preserving the patient's rights and human dignity in a confidential manner, encouraging the patient to function at their highest level of ability.
This is a full-time position. Hours are 11:00pm-7:00am, along with rotating holidays and every other weekend.
To maintain casual employment with the Medical/Surgical team, employees must work at least 24 hours per quarter, including at least 8 weekend hours. Shifts may be worked in four-hour increments.
