• 182 Day Contract
• Hours per day: 7
• Hourly rate: $23.05-25.90 (Depending on qualifications and experience)

The Nutrition Services Manager Elementary oversees food service activities at an assigned location, including organizing food preparation, supervising cafeteria staff, ensuring food quality and quantities, preparing operational reports, and maintaining compliance with nutritional and health standards.

Essential Functions

• Maintain sanitary conditions by cleaning utensils, equipment, and areas.
• Estimate food quantities and adjust recipes to meet needs and reduce waste.
• Evaluate food for flavor, appearance, and temperature.
• Implement menu plans to meet nutritional requirements.
• Inspect deliveries for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain inventory of food and supplies.
• Ensure cleanliness and health standards are met.
• Manage site operations, including staffing, menus, dietary needs, and budgeting.
• Monitor food service operations for safety and standards.
• Order supplies and maintain stock levels.
• Orient new employees and oversee food preparation and service.
• Participate in meetings and training sessions.
• Perform other duties as needed to ensure efficient operations.

Training & Certification

• Must renew Serv Safe certification every 3 years.
• Food Handler's Permit and Serv Safe Certificate required.

Requirements

• Age 16 or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with increasing responsibility preferred.
